Up just after 5 am….weight at 136 lbs…must have been that
rice…couldn’t have been all the peanut butter and candy….
Overcast day…off to pick up Gunner for the day. We’re also losing our electricity today
between 9 am and 3 pm….off and on????
But have charged the computers and phones.
Had Gunner from 8 to 11….then Josh picked him up for an
appointment at the Vet…he seems to have an infection in his mouth. Later I learned that he has gingivitis…a cut
in his mouth got infected. He wants to
put everything in his mouth at this age.
At noon we headed for Costco…picked up a prescription for
me….with the new insurance the copay was zero!
Wow…but that’s for generic drugs.
Jim ate some of the free food….I’d eaten the rest of the peanut butter jar
before coming….tail end scoops…probably a couple of spoonfuls.
Dropped items at Salvation Army and then went to Barbara’s
for a visit. Cleaned out her computer
for her…she was over whelmed…..nearly 400 emails in her inbox! She is still recovering from a fall out in Palm Springs...hurt her knee and ankle....several weeks ago and she still taking days in bed!!
Home by 4 pm…had some of Jim’s chicken and rice from last
night for dinner.
Talked to Jay on places to stay in Venice. He is traveling for two weeks in June with
his father-in-law in Italy. They’re
doing only northern Italy. Will go to
Venice, Milan, and then to relatives in northern Italy. From there they will have a car and visit
Lake Como and several other places. He’s
very excited about his trip.
Electricity was off from 9 am to noon so we had to reset all
the timers this evening.
Snack: flour tortita
shell with sugar and choc chips.
To bed at 10 pm after finishing my book about the bicycle
riders. Good book…
