Up at 7 am….Jim has gone for his quarterly blood test…they
only have me go every four months?? Not
sure why … this is a change.
Weight was 134 lbs….yes….I was good and didn’t eat anything
the rest of the day yesterday after my huge lunch.
Found a message from Shirley when I got up….she has a big
day…so I sent her a text to say good morning and she responded with a thanks
immediately. I took my phone into the
bathroom with me and then called Betty also while I did my morning routine. She sounded okay…said she’d had a bad
night. But cheered up….they were working
on her electrical in her living room.
Then called Mary B.
Her son-in-law got kicked by the cow and has had knee surgery…it broke
the bone around his knee….cow was giving birth…Mary said they named the new one
Buster. Their daughter Alex is in South
America and they are worried that she might hear the news.
We talked about not worrying about Italy reservations until
May to see what Miss Bonnie is going to do.
Okay with me.
Sun is coming out…looks like another warm day. Will try to get Jim to walk as soon as he
gets home.
8:30 am…walked …started in a sweatshirt and half way around
took it off … had worn a tank top underneath…warming up fast.
In reading Mary B‘s post yesterday…just realized the
date: 3-13-13 yesterday!
9:30 am…breakfast:
banana, applesauce and oats…plus coffee
Noon….hotdog bun with some chicken for lunch
Afternoon was spent working on new speech…..
Dinner: salad with
carrots, tomato, lettuce and red vinegar dressing….dessert: large spoon of peanut butter
Betty seemed good with her evening call….
Mary B. sent me a new book…Grace….and I finished my book on Finding
The Gypsy in Me….and started that one.
