Up about 6:30 am…called Shirley first after reading Mary B.’s text.  She said they have 2 – 3 inches of wet snow.  They are staying in today…in fact she’d just gotten up and Larry is still asleep and it’s 10 am there.

Talked to Miss Betty….she was up and moving…had thought today was her doctor day and got up early to shower….then remembered it wasn’t today.  She was on her way to the mailbox as they said she had some mail.

Talked to Mary B…she has already been to church and is up and going for the day.

Weight:  135 lbs….well….it could have gone higher with the weekend of eating so I have that to be thankful for.  Now to get going on watching what I eat this week.

We have a repair man coming for the washer…the dial seems to be broken.  They started at 7 am power washing the house next door…including the wall in our entry.  Jim is still sleeping…must have his ear plugs in….he was up during the night…his tell…the robe on the banister was a dead give away and his computer was on.

Sun is out and it’s time to get dressed…am skipping French class today because of everything that is going on here this morning.

Got busy and did all three bathrooms and dusted all the rooms.  Jim is busy repairs handles on three of the our doors…they are all old and need constant attention.

Did errands:  Staples…envelopes & ink cartridge used coupon for $20 from turning in empty ink cartridges.    Costco…ordered some refills for ink cartridges.  Post Office…mailed Easter Cards and then to Target for more Easter buckets.  Then to the bank for coins for the eggs but the branch doesn’t carry them so I had to go all the way to the big bank in Placentia.  Ran into road work which complicated that drive.  Then a stop at Wendy’s office to deliver People magazine, dropped off an OLLI schedule at our hair dresser and finally home.

Washing machine man has still not arrived….but finally came at 1 pm.  Just a dial…Jim feels a bit foolish as he could have done it himself.

Lunch:  peanut butter, celery, carrots and bread…

Worked on the Easter baskets for several hours but finally got them all done and the eggs filled with money.  So that’s done.

Dinner:  3 cheese sticks and a cup of noodle soup.

Talked to Mary B. this evening….but after six tries gave up on Betty….she must have turned it off again.  Jay called…he has an interview for a full time teaching job … social studies…in a Catholic High School….would be nice if he get’s it but not holding our breath as there are probably 100 applicants for the job.
