Up at 7 pm….had taken an Alergie Releif pill last night and
slept soundly. Weight at 134 lbs.
Called Betty, Shirley and Mary before 8 am…
Breakfast about 8 am…oatmeal & applesauce, coffee and
also bread with jam
Walked 2 miles with Jim
Worked on Quicken this morning
Also wrote a letter to agent in Paris regarding our rental
near the Luxembourg Gardens.
Oh yes…we watched the cardinals make their pledge and heard
that we had black smoke from the first ballot today about 7:30 pm.
Lunch: peanut butter
on celery….a spoonful of jam and a big handful of choc. Chips
2 pm….off to see the eye doctor for yearly exam. She said our glasses were fine for now and
that there is no macular degeneration detected and the cathartics were very
small and shouldn’t cause me a problem for at least five years except for some
blurring of the vision.
Home about 3:30 and had an early dinner of a veggie patty
with salsa and a small slice of bread.

At 7 pm I went over to church for the Reconciliation
evening. Very nicely done with ten
priest.
Jim and I had fun this evening looking at restaurants in
Paris. We’re toying with the ideal of
renting an apartment from December 17th to January 16th
in Paris. ??????
After I got home I had a cup of nuts, choc chips and raisins
for dessert. Probably will be sorry
tomorrow.
