Going to the post office today after the gym (at 9 am) to mail a package to Warren...this may be the last time...he could have easily mailed me one of the letters that I'd enclosed with the other 3 packages and we haven't heard one word. Oh well...kids We do hear about him from Laura....he calls them every once in a while.
I'm also mailing Mary's birthday gift from Barbara...she has always been very generous with my kids on their 40th birthday....the girls have each been given a new diamond ring and the boys received an equal amount of money. She purchased Mary two "eternity bands" that can be stacked or put on the either side of another ring. They are very pretty...probably 1 caret total of very small diamonds....do hope that she likes it. I'm also mailing one of the dresses to her so that she can see the color. The photo that we sent makes it look too dark. We've decided to keep at least one of the extra dresses and use it to make sleeves or wraps for those that don't want sleeveless...Wendy for one...
Ate breakfast: 2 bacon and 1 egg plus coffee
Mary called...Betty is awake and doing well...she'll call me back later ... she took Betty to the hospital at 5 am this morning for removal of a cancerous spot on female organs...
