This morning I'm meeting Jenny & Wendy at church for the brides meeting. I did eat my oatmeal for breakfast....I think it was the peanut butter that did me in yesterday....also at lots of artichoke hearts among other things. Bad girl...bad day.... but I did stay up to watch the end of the Olympics and the problems at the end with raising the torch. Sure was a long ride in the rain for Gresky to light the outside torch. Jim gave up and went to sleep and because of the problems the recorder turned off about twenty minutes too early.
I also did all of my cards for the rest of February and March. I will have Wendy mail them for me in March...she's good about that. This was an expensive month with 2 of the boys turning 21...I always give them a double gift on that special day...generally not a big deal but February also has four additional birthdays. But I feel that it's important to continue the tradition as long as we can since the older grandchildren enjoyed the spoils during my "earning" days.
