Up about 6:30 am...I'm leaving in a few minutes to get my blood work done for cholosteral test. My quarterly one. The lunch yesterday was very nice....I rarely do one of these so it was special. Mostly women from the shores...I was the only one from our street. Held for a woman who moved back in the 1990's .... first to Hawaii for a number of years and in the last few years they've lived in Washington. They have a mentally disabled daughter who is now in her 40's and they moved to be closer to her brothers and sisters as they will take care of her after Karen & Elgin are dead. Julie was also at the lunch and they had 2 of her girl friends there for her. One would have thought that the 3 of them were teenagers. They became friends when they were all teenagers here in Orange County.

9:15 pm....long day. Spent 2 hours with Barbara and worked with her on her clothes for the trip. Can't believe how much she is taking...but we got it all in by expanding her suitcase...it has a double expansion...definetely has to be checked.
