September 8, 2009

Weight this morning...up a pound....I was good all day yesterday but then we went out in the boat for a couple of hours with Carolyn & Gordon. Opps...ate crackers with my meat & cheese, Jim's bruschette had bread and then pie that Carolyn brought out....all washed down by several glasses of white wine! But oh what fun we had...

Jim must have been up during the night....I woke about 7 am and he is still sleeping and it's after now after 9 am. I've posted my blog and had 1 cup of coffee. I've been reading French Women don't Get Fat...thinking about the Leek soup but think maybe I can do something a bit different on my own...got to below 135 and hold for a week so that I can focus on 130...

Today I'm going to tackle the bathrooms and the living room. The piano tuner is coming between 12 & 1 to do the piano. It's been nearly a year and a piece of felt came out while the boys were here so thought I'd go ahead and do it now. Probably about $100...but feel that I should keep it in repair for future generations.

I saw a picture of (Jim just woke up) of a bookcase that I liked...it is floor to ceiling...thought it would be great on the wall where the piano now sits...that could move into the den...and it would hold ALL OF OUR BOOKS from throughout the house...I'll try to scan it and post...it is in the house of Diane Von Furstenberg. My thought is to build a cabinet at the bottom that would hold a flat screen TV....okay....got it in....guess we're going to go walking now...sun is out so need to close up the house.

TUESDAY EVENING....
No .... only wishfull thinking...I want to get below 135 and stay they for a week or so....I did really good most of today but had a dish of fat free ice cream tonight which will probably blow the day.
See you tomorrow.

  1. I love the bookcase....would be great to have a flat screen downstairs...this would keep guests out of Jim's bedroom. Are you still thinking of moving your office downstairs? Did you say that you now are holding at 135 ????..hugs, Mary
