I did finish another book...two in two days: The Glassblower of Murano by Marina Fiorato and The Last Bridge by Teri Coyne .. both excellent and each easy to read in a day. They were in the new books at the Library. I'd gotten a 3rd one but wouldn't recommend it.
After church this morning I continued to work on updating my new Acer...downloaded the Microsoft Pack 2 for Office while I worked on the desktop on my current blogs about Greece. Today I finished enough (except I still have to add the labels to the photos on the Paros albums...think I'll label them before I upload to the picasaweb. I only have to do another 2 days and I'll have them ready for posting up through September 30th.
Me thinks it time to do some housework instead of setting on the computer.
Back to my low carb diet today:
breakfast after church at 10 am: 3 bacons: 1/10 gram of carb, 109 calories, and 9 grams of fat
1 hard boiled egg: 1/2 gr of carb, 78 cal. & 5.3 gr of fat
1 slice of swiss cheese: 0 carb, 80 cal. & 6 gr of fat
2 cups of coffee completed the meal
lunch at 1:45 pm: 3 slices of Prosciutto Ham (1 oz): 0 carbs, 93 cal and 5 gr of fat
6 slices of Dry Coppa (beef) (1oz): 0 carbs, 90 cal and 6 gr of fat
(both high in sodium...especially the dry coppa)
3 slices of cheese (2 ozs) 0 carbs... 240 calories and 18 gr of fat

Now I just have to be extra good tonight...plan to eat only chicken.... Jim is still at Bowers Museum and will fill the car with gas on the way home. Sister Mary called and we had a long talk ... called Jay on skype and got to see Holly and the kids....they are planning on a new dog...a beagle per Miss Lily. Jenn & Kelly are in Big Bear (plus 3 other couples) and have rearranged the family room...she emailed me photos...really like the new arrangement.
