Got up about 7:30 this morning and Mary had found Bonnie ... lots of fun surprising Mary F. We'd told her last night that our neighbor (Bill...guitars..) had a fight and his girl friend was using the guest room and that's why she had to sleep in the attic. Bonnie was just too tired to go to the airport.

Last night we dropped Jim off and picked up Jenn & Kelly at 11 pm...the 4 of us (Mary & I) went to Fullerton and met us with Brian (her designated driver) and the birthday girl. At 11:30 pm we had a round of beers and before leaving about 12:30...I had shots with the girls and finished before any of them! Hard to believe downtown Fullerton at night....the young people come in from all over...even Riverside...to party. Alyssa's friends were playing music at "10 Tables" and that is where we were...she sang "Summertime" with the band while we were there. Home, showered and tucked into bed just before 1:30 am....

Weighed in at 136 lbs this morning...company is hard to do! Mary, Bonnie & I walked to Starbucks (I only got a black coffee) and then around the shopping center, back to the lake and all around the outside of th lake....probably about 2.5 miles.

Bfk when we returned: banana, flaxseed, 3 strawberries. By 10:30 we all pilled into the car...Mary decided to go with us instead of visiting her friend (who she is also spending Saturday with)....we headed to Newport Beach and spent about 1/2 hour with Barbara....Mary had not seen her in almost 2 years. She was up and had makeup on....seemed really good and it was a good visit. John was not home. Then we went to see a brand new movie "Bright Star" about the poet John Keets and his romance during the last 2 years of his life. Very good....lots of poetry.

Stopped at Starbucks on the way to the movie and got 3 sandwiches...Jim and I shared ... and we ate those at the theatre. I only at 2 big bites...they were really good.

Then we drove Mary to Alyssa's apartment in Long Beach...very nice...area questionable but the complex VERY nice. Aunt Mary is the only relative that has been invited to attend her "friends" birthday party tonight on the roof of the complex with views of the Queen Mary and harbor. She is sharing a condo with 2 other girls who also attend Long Beach State University...one of the girls is the daughter of the owners. She has a nice large private room.

Tomorrow morning Bonnie and I will drive back to bring her home...we decided we didn't want to leave either of the cars parked on the street overnight.

Home about 5:30....we each ate a piece of left over pizza from last night while we fixed chicken tacos for dinner. Then we each had a sorbet for dessert...a glass of wine. After dinner we went for a boat ride on the lake and then Bonnie went to bed....

I went up to the Blockbuster and traded for a new movie...Barbara told us the one called "Pope John Paul II" with Jon Voight is very good so I got that one and we can watch in Sunday evening.

I also stopped at Stein Mart and found some peddle pushers on sale for $11...that will look nice tomorrow...I only have 1 pair that fits...gotta lose some weight!

That's it for tonight....calories....have no idea but did much better today than yesterday. Drinking lots of water tonight.

I also posted my blog for tomorrow early...we have a very busy day tomorrow...Bonnie's Bill has rented a car and will arrive before noon....then we're off to Bowers and Laguna Beach before the party at 6 pm.
