Worked on photos that we took after dark last night...I need to go out again tonight and take more using a typod as well as the timer..without flash ...
Breakfast: banana and flaxseed plus coffee...
Today we are going to finish putting the final touches on the decorations and then put the last of the boxes in the attic. Last night we started blowing up the large rubber balls that look like Christmas ornaments....we did two by hand...me holding the needle and Jim pumping the bike pump...nearly killed him!!! But, afterwards he said...wow...my shoulders feel good! Neighbor Bill has a compressor and he's going over there to blow up the rest.
The weather reports are NOT good for Saturday...we're going to prepare everything as though it will be raining. The dock lights always short out so we are going to bypass those plugs for everything except the dock lights...can't do anything about them.
Lunch: at 1:30 pm...tuna fish salad and jello/coolwhip dessert
Worked until 4:30 pm on the outside decorations....made lots of changes in the entry way...ended up with lots more lights ... cleaned up the den and put all the boxes away in the attic. Then I cleaned the attic and put bed linens up there as I think Tom will want to sleep there.
Dinner: 6 pm....nice slice of the left over pork roast, peas and butter...plus 2 glasses of wine.
Have had a few handfuls of nuts during the day.
Very tired, hands hurt from working with lights all day. But a good day...if it rains tomorrow we're ok.
Also took a break this afternoon and went to the banks to make deposits and then to the library to get my Ted Kennedy book...True Compase...is another 2 - 3 inch thick book. Good think I've got until the end of December to read it. I'm in the middle of another book called "Three Cups of Tea"....very good.
