Getting the kids up...they have a 8:30 appointment with the pastor at St. Martins. They are trying to extend their plane tickets???
Today I need to read my book...I'd down to less than 200 pages so I should be able to finish it today. Barbara had called last night while I was showing photos to Joe & Laura from Christmas Eve ... they were not able to open the large group I sent....wanted to hear how everyone loved her meat.... She also said that none of the clothes or shoes that she purchased at Steinmart fit so I guess she's going back up...I hope not today...I need a day off!
I DID POST SUNDAY & MONDAY THIS MORNING...SO GO BACK & READ THOSE.
5 pm....much quieter day...Mary & Tushar met with Fr. Joe at St. Martin's and set up a date for the wedding on May 14th, 2010...Friday...also Jim's mother's birthday. 5:30 pm Mass. Then they went to visit with Joe & Laura and then off to the beach and her friend Tracy's. They are still gone. Good thing we have 2 cars.
Once they called me on the date...we walked to the clubhouse to pay for renting the bottom floor of the clubhouse for the reception. We have the room from 11 am to 1 am the following morning. Must clean it up before 1 am...except for tables...they take those down and also the dance floor. The rate is fantastic especially since I thought to take our insurance information and they accepted that .. otherwise it was $150 for the insurance. Fee is $360...including extra for the late hours. Plus a $200 security deposit that they hold uncashed until after the party.
Walked 2 miles around the lake and then went to Costco and Ralphs for some shopping. Caught my quicken back up and had nice conversations with both Bonnie and Mary.
Food wise...not good choices today...too much candy...will be better tomorrow. I purchased eggs and plan to boil a dozen tomorrow.
