I've read over 100 pages of Ted Kennedy's book....very good....personal narrative.... One of the things he said was that Carolyn Kennedy once asked Rose if she and grandpa fought?
She said "No, I always just said "yes dear" and then went to Paris!" Barbara should do that.
Woke about 6 am...turned on the heat...it's 25 degrees outside...and finally got up about 7 am. Went to 8 am Mass and we were asked to take the gifts up which was nice. Weight....I don't think I gained but definitely didn't lose. Breakfast after church was 2 slices of wheat bread (bad) a poached egg, butter, jam, a banana and coffee.
Mary...the movie Julia...the market that she shopped in was the same one that we walked through on our last day in Paris when we walked to find the McDonalds and looked for hotels for next June....it was on the way back that we stumbled into it...there was a church there that was having a funeral....do you remember it?
2:30 pm...after breakfast I worked on getting the upstairs and family room reorganized. We talked with Vivian and Denis about who to contact regarding the neighbors with large dead pine trees...now we just have to make the calls.
Lunch was a grilled in butter, cheese sandwich on wheat bread. Now I'm going to have some jello with coolwhip and then read my book this afternoon. It's actually up to 60 degrees outside.
4:30 pm Jim took a nap and I've been reading...I'm on page 183 out of 725....Jim is now watching the French movie from Blockbuster that we brought up with us....subtitles.
Dinner at 5 pm...pork ribs ... we found them in the freezer...probably been there for months. Smells good...baked it in the oven and we're opening a can of corn to go with it. Afternoon snack of nuts.
