Mary turned on her computer for me to check once more about Mary's ring...sure enough she had posted a lovely email about her engagement and trip along with a wonderful photo of the two of them showing her ring.
Left for the airport about 8:30 am...checked in with no problems. Got settled and Jim called....I told him about the email from Mary...he hadn't received it so signed on to the free wireless here at the airport and forwarded the email to him. Then signed on to Skype and we talked for a few minutes. Got another email from Mary and found out that the photo was on Tushar's facebook for only 5 minutes...she could not believe that during that time I'd signed on and seen the photo!
Flight is delayed 15 minutes...may be the story of the day as east coast is having the storms that we had last night....glad I've a 2 hour layover in Nashville. Jim is going to go somewhere near the airport tonight and I'll call him when I arrive instead of parking and waiting in the baggage room at the airport.
Next Day....well I'll try this again....lost my typing ....
Plane from Tampa was only about 15 min. late....Nashville...I'd lost an hour when I arrived and then the plane was over 1/2 late in departing. Lots of "delays" posted on the boards probably due to the storms. From Tampa I had 3 seats to myself....from Nashville it was packed. Lots of coughing and sneezing...wore my mask the entire time. Ate a ham & cheese sandwich in Nashville and some beef jerky plus the airplane snacks heading home....too much salt I'm sure.
Arrived about 6 pm....Jim had left late and was still on the 91 freeway when we touched down. But with about 10 minutes after I arrived in the lobby....he was there. Stayed up until 10 pm California time to reset my clock....lots of Quicken to do....
When we arrived home Jim drove me up and down the lake streets....we really do have the best street this year. The sparkleballs are FANTASTIC.
