Woke up about 5 am and decided to get up....finally got my linen closet back together...it's been torn apart for a week. Weight the same ... I did walk in and out last night in the dark...good to be out again. Hope to get to the gym but I think today is the day to help Jim take down the lollypop sparkleball. The grandsons are coming on Saturday morning.

I put one giant ball and all the smaller ones that I have cleaned in the attic yesterday...got them all behind the bookcase at the head of the stairs...did not realize how much room there was in that spot. Should be able to get the rest of them on top of the Christmas decoration in the storage area of the attic.

Loved the new photo of Mary in her gray shirt from Paris...she looks slim and trim in it.

We checked into the hotel about 8 pm...had dinner with Jay & family before driving into the city...we're at the Sir Francis Drake in room 1207....nice room and Internet...a biggie for me. Not a suite but for $129...not bad! 183 square feet...and a bathtub! You can sit on the toilet and wash your hands and dangle your feet in the tub all at the same time! Tiny is the ultimate word. But as Dad says, we can now say that we've stayed at the Sir Francis Drake. He thought that the Top of the Mark was at the top of this hotel until I explained that it was at the top of the Mark Hopkins Hotel. We do have fun.

See you tomorrow...sleep tight...will be in the Rotanda between 9 & 9:30 am.

Nice evening...had lots of fog all the way up....but San Francisco is clear tonight...so glad we drove in tonight as may have fog in the morning. Nice dinner with Jay & Holly, Tom & Lily at Marie Callendars Restaurant.

Had to sign up for hotel promo in order to get their free internet. Probably will never stay in a Kimpton hotel again...what ever.....
