January 11, 2010

Up about 5:30 am...weight 134 lbs. Decided to wash the white bedspread in the guest room instead of dry cleaning...worked on some stains and have it soaking now. If this doesn't work...it's time for a new one. This was a hand-me-down back in 1991.

I posted my first Irish Blog last night so that the Florida people would find it early this morning. Sent out an email to my group of 183...

Tomorrow we have Matt all day...he's having wisdom teeth pulled...they do it BEFORE there is a problem now. So...today I want to get all the Christmas stuff put away and clean the house. Very tired of the clutter and dust.

Breakfast...1 hard boiled egg and 2 slices of bacon plus coffee.

7 pm in the evening...........

Lunch: Cheese melted in uncooked taco shell. Diet Coke
Dinner: bits and bites...

Went to the post office this morning and mailed the DVD's with photos and video to Mary, Bonnie, Shirley and a set to Mary & Tushar along with a CD of music and list of songs.

Then to the mall to pick up a gift certificate for our friend Michele who is graduating from Cordon Bleu Cooking School this month. Jim's calf muscle went out on him again...then to 99 cent store to purchase cards for future use.

Arrived home and put Jim in his chair with TV, laptop computer, etc within easy reach. Have tried to keep him down all day. I finished getting all of the Christmas things to the attic...not put away but in the attic....then I vacuumed the whole house. I'm exhausted.

I even cooked Jim a chicken taco for dinner and took it upstairs for him. Good news from Tushar in that the eye surgeon said that the infection is healed...he will always have to wear glasses but the vision will continue to improve as the scars heal.

I'm going to post another Irish Blog tonight. I think I'll post them about 9 pm every night as so many of my readers are on the east coast.

By the way....the guest bedroom bedspread came out beautifully...and all that money I've spent over the last nearly 20 years to dry clean!!!!
