Easy trip home, clear skys and no traffic...back by 6 am...weight was 134 lbs...probably because of the wonderful but late dinner we had last night. While the kids did laundry and packed, we joined a group of 14 neighbors for cocktails at Tom & Karens and then an 8 pm dinner at Palomar Restaurant in our local shopping center. About 10 pm we headed towards Java Joe's coffee & wine house where we had tables reserved. But, we were half an hour late and some of the seats were gone so we decided to cut it short and head for home...Jim was delighted. Watched an old 30 Rock show and then turned off the lights at 11 pm.
Breakfast this morning was a spinach omelet with cheese.
9 pm....spent most of the day on the computer. Finally started the Irish Journals...told Joan that I'd publish my first one on January 11th to give her some lead time. Most of time spent on photos as I had to really sort and get them to go with the story.
Food...ate way too much....peanut butter, bread, another spinach omelett and choc chips this evening. 2 diet sodas ... I'm stuffed. Also a banana, and 4 tangerines
Tomorrow I start with a low carb diet and hit the gym. We didn't even walk today. Jim started taking down the Christmas decorations in the backyard...starting with the boat. Tomorrow we'll get the boxes out of the attic and on Sunday he has Bowers so I can work on taking down some of the inside after I get what he has down repaired and put away. I told him no more until I get that done....he's like a little boy with matches when he gets started taking down.
This evening I've been working on loading all 28 gig bytes of 2009 Twin Trip on DVD disks for storage so I can delete them from the desktop. I went to Best Buy to look at new CPU's...I'm going to try to continue to use my screen. Just looking for now.
