While at the gym I started talking to the young man at the front desk and by the end of the day I'd arranged for him to use Big Bear this weekend and SHOVEL SNOW.... Seems very nice and a good friend gave him strong references....do hope it works out as his days off are generally during the week and that would work good for Big Bear. Will see how it works out.
Breakfast: hard boiled egg, 2 bacon strips and COFFEE!
Rain has started again about 3 pm.
Drove to Wal-Mart and picked up 6 containers of Antifreeze for Big Bear...and found some pants I brought home to try on. Then over to my neighbors for 3 hours of computer work.
Talked to Mary on my way...she is very frustrated with Miss Betty but talking to Jim while I was gone seems to have helped.
Lunch: 6 oz of tuna with mustard and a cheese strip...plus diet coke
Jim has been working on our July trip all day....he has us going to Brussels by train after Paris and then by train to Reims .... we'll pick up our car there on 9th (instead of going back to Paris to pick up the car) and continue following the tour for a while after that.
I purchased 2 books yesterday for our two trips and I'm labeling the pages and now will begin to put the reservations, etc in each.
