Breakfast at 8 am: coffee...1/2 cup (measured) of dry Fiber One Cereal 60 calories, 25 carbs
Mary talked to me yesterday about visiting while Shirley is there....will look at flights for early December...maybe ... looking at first week in December.
Talked to Mary F. for a long time yesterday. She has decided to enter her application for the studio apartment. Won't know until 19th (I think) right now they only have 1 but it's early she said. Boyfriend going well...she gave me his name and said I could find him in her Facebook and that it was okay to send a message. I did...and I've heard back from him already.
Found out why Terry Hallcom was so upset last week...seems as though every time we'd call on their skype it would screw up his tax spread sheet that he was working on. Now I understand why he yelled at me. I suggested to Bonnie that she consider getting her own skype account for her laptop.
Took a look at my United miles for flying to Florida...decided to do Southwest after much researching on the internet....finally found a super special for $89 there and with a bit more work found a flight home for another $89 so with the taxes a bit over $200. Booked the flights for Nov 18th to Dec. 3rd....will be spending Thanksgiving with my sisters in Florida.
Off to Sprint in Brea....time to renew my phone contract...got a new telephone in the process. Because the old one had no trade in value (because of age) but still works he suggested to store it in the glove compartment of my car, charging it about once a month. In an emergency it can be used to dial 911...say if you rolled your car...your phone flew out the window.....he said that that actually happened once to a client. Also...if I break the new one I could have the old one turned back on...
Then to the Library...decided to not get romance novels (might as well be watching tv)...but picked up some historical novels.
Lunch: leek soup and 1 slice of wheat bread with butter and a slice of cheese.
Left to go see the new movie "Paris" .... not widely distributed...had to go to Costa Mesa....French film in French with English subtitles. Very good especially since the whole movie is about Paris and shows lots of places.
Then off to Target to get birthday gifts...and Warren's Christmas gift ... doing a birthday and Christmas party for him next week...he leaves Nov. 1st for Afganistan.
Dinner: flour shell with 4 bacons, cheese and then rest of cool whip with choc syrup for dessert.
Probably won't loose any weight as I didn't exercise today.
