October 14, 2009

October 14th written on the 15th: First real day of rain for the season....washed things down good and also ruined my halloween ghost....didn't realize she had so much paper in her! She should not have been in the rain! Now I'll have to work on reconstructing her! Busy day yesterday on the computer. Purchased the tickets for the March trip and then arranged the seating on the planes...constantly checking with Barbara on what I was doing. They leave today for St. Louis and family wedding.

Talked to Bonnie for a long time...she was walking and called me on the cell phone. Said it was her 4th day of walking! Talked to Mary B. while she was waiting for Phil and also for a long time to Betty. Several emails with Mary F. after I received her email with plane trip ticket details for her trip to India over Thanksgiving. Jim and I are driving to Paseo Robles to meet them for lunch on 26th....I think I'll take some photos to the winery where we meet the Olive Mill Frenchman and share the story with them.

Jim and I walked to the stores after I watched the DVD of Theresa.....good movie but definately very religious...then walked the in and out of the lake after returning...so a good 3 miles.

Jay called yesterday....the new dog arrives Friday and has been changed to a male pug...new name will be Harry Potter. Also said that Jess & Marie Williams got remarried. Jess was Jim's best man and they divorced probably 15 years ago but kept seeing each other. Jess substitute teaches for Jay when needed....nice to have the relationship between them. Kids got report cards...Miss Lily got all VG (the new A) and Tom got all good reports on discipline issues which was good as he can have a temper...and all B & C on his subjects. He hates taking a back seat to his little sister but he just has to work a lot harder than she does for the same results.

Food wise yesterday: banana & flaxseed for bfk; lots of lettuce throughout the day,and Atkins drink in afternoon, several handfuls of nuts, probably about 5 sticks of cheese and a huge tablespoon of peanut butter...not good. What ever...
