We put all new tires on the Prius yesterday to the tune of $355.17 at Costco...had a coupon! I went to Target and purchased wedding gift for San Francisco. Hard to believe that we'll be up there in a couple of weeks.
The new phone system (hand off from Bill Kritzberg) seems to be working okay. Several of the stations didn't work so he purchased a new one. I guess he has phones in every room?? And must have two lines as there are two master units with answering machines. Sounds like Jim is awake...it's 8:20 am. What I like best is that the master units have speakers to use hands free....I put one in the kitchen and one in my office. I've set up both answering machines...but can only have one on at a time.
Here is yesterday's food journal:
Friday
7 am....up
7:30 am...coffee
8 am....walk two miles with Jim
9 am ... breakfast:
1/4 melon, 1/2 avocado, coffee
11:30 am...lunch:
yogurt, taco shell with cheese
4 pm...snack: 6
stuffed olives, cup of pistachio nuts
5 pm...dinner:
chicken, 1/2 yam, 1/2 avocado, 1 glass of wine
6 pm...2 mile walk around the lake by myself
and about 8 pm....while watching the Olympics...two cups of mixed nuts...my downfall yesterday.
Carolyn has recommended a new book to me: To Heaven and Back by Mary Neal...not at the library so I'll have to wait and borrow her book when she is done.
