Good to talk with Mary this morning. Weight was back to 135...I hit 137 on Saturday. Have decided to give up coffee and soda ... off since Saturday...had Cosmos at the Chicago Hot Dog party on Friday night....lots of fun...good neighbors. Warm enough that we were outside.

Went to Gaughan's yesterday to help Barbara with her telephone....she was dressed...unusual...but had climbed back into bed and was asleep when I arrived about noon. I woke her up and proceeded to the living room and that kept her from climbing back into the bed. She's hit the off button on the telephone....an easy fix.

She purchased Jim a new suitcase....a nice one that has the spinner wheels. Jim said !!!!!??!!! ... I don't need a new suitcase...I said thank her and be done with it. He forgot to call her when he got home from Bowers....they'd had one of their largest crowds ever and he was tired....she called this morning and said "didn't he like it?".....I made excuses for him about being so tired...

He was out getting the smog done on the Porsche for the license...when he got home I made him call her....she had him on the phone for over 1/2 hour.

I've nearly finished the upstairs...one more bathroom and the office. Then I think I'll wait for tomorrow to do the downstairs.
