Instead of going to the gym yesterday, we went to Corona to watch Josh in his championship play off game for his recreational roller hockey league. They won but it was a close game 4 - 5. Came home and walked our 2 miles. Then last night we celebrated "Earth Hour" and walked another mile around the lake in the dark. Would be fun next year to get more of the lake to participate in this event. It's worldwide...especially in large cities.
Mass this morning was very interesting...the Deacon gave the sermon and prefaced it with tales of growing up with a cistern and having to share bath water, etc....brought back lots of memories. He lived on a farm and their cistern was in the basement. Their well was "rotten egg" water and only used for toilets, etc. Drinking, bathing and cooking water was the cistern. Then he tied it to the gospel...beautiful job.
I wonder if Bonnie's company arrived this weekend? She spoke of her nieces' son coming down this weekend for the St. Petersburg Grand Prix. And, per you, I see that Terry is on his way to Florida.
Right now I've got "Coco before Chanel" running under this window...listening to the French in my ear. Also...Mary F. called yesterday....change of plans....Tushar has to work in San Francisco this week so they will be driving down together on Saturday in time for Jenn's birthday party. Then she will stay the week and he'll fly back here and they'll drive home on the 9th.
Hope that you are having a great anniversary today....nice to hear that Phil planned a special day for you.
My book arrived ... the one about the dog and the motor scooter...really cute....already half way through and amazing how many of the French words I can read before he translates.
