Up about 8:30 am...worked on addressing the envelopes for Christmas cards last night while we all watched television together. After dinner we bundled up and walked over to Lombardi Street and back...as very nice walk on a beautifully clear, but cool, evening.
Seem to be doing good on eating...yes...we're eating chili and other left overs along with a new dish last night. We took Brussels sprouts cut them in half and seasoned with olive oil, salt and pepper and baked them at 475. put them cut side down on ( use parchment paper if you have it) and they caramelize when done. REALLY good. only 15 minutes even if you start with frozen ones which we did. But have not eaten sweets or bread since I arrived.
Today we drove to Costco and did their shopping for the week....all inside a large building by the 80 freeway ... even the parking was inside....all the lower level and then more on the second level where the actual store is located. When we arrived home we went up on the roof as the blue angels were flying very low over the house while practicing for the air show this weekend. The sound was incredible. They were so close sometimes it felt like we could touch them.
Right now we are watch Cash Cow on TV and then at 3:30 we leave to pick up Tushar for the 4 pm doctor appointment. Will be interesting to see what the doctor says about the baby and due date.
