Up about 7:30 am....nose is running...hope it's not a cold. weight: 131 lbs. so down a pound from yesterday. Last night we had a piece of keylime pie after playing cards with Shirley & Derek. He arrived with his "service Dog" Cindy yesterday.

Also watched Angels and Demons...half before cards and then finished it when we got home. Also watched Brothers and Sisters.

Bfk. hard boiled egg.

Finished my book and walked for 45 minutes today. Weather much warmer...shorts and no jacket required. Did a load of laundry when I returned. Lunch was vegetable soup.

8:30 pm.... Derek had car trouble and Mary & I had to go pick Shirley up... Later we took a ovcr over for them to watch DVDs.

dinner was the rest of the eggnog from Thanksgiving, vegetable soup, cottage cheese. Ate some cheese today and again too many nuts.

Jim got the windshield replaced on our Prius...we have a broken sparkleball....refrig. broke in Big Bear but Russ was there to replace it with the one in the laundry room.

started a new book...Deep Storm...should finish it before I leave on Thursday...storms coming in for my travel day ....

Shirley & Derek stopped by...they were out walking tonight with Cindy.....they'd gone out to eat again...fish...Shirley said she'd eaten too much. Derek is still awaiting word about his car that they had to take to the Audi dealer in Saratoga. Cindy is now registered with the clubhouse as a service dog.

dinner: more vegetable soup and some cottage cheese. Also finished the last of the eggnog. ate some cheese today and again too many nuts. I've started a new book...
