Let's not talk about weight...I was at 131 this morning. Lack of exercise and still eating leftovers from Thanksgiving. Time to get serious...

Well the Christmas letter is printed and sealed into envelopes ready to mail tomorrow. FOUND TWO MAJOR ERRORS....after it was done....when you get it Mary...see if you can find them. I'm not opening 65 envelopes and reprinting so it's going out as is.

Today we're going to see John Gaughan and then to see the new movie with George Clooney...The Descendents, afterwards it will be more lights to put up when we get home.

We're working on getting Anthony into a schedule. She still nurses him a couple of times a day but is trying to wean him off. He is eating regular food and drinking whole milk cold so there is no reason not to quit. It's habit right now. I also discovered that he is not used to the bathtub. Tushar takes him into the shower and holds him. I said it was time to learn to take a bath. We put him into our big tub last night....he screamed bloody murder... finally Mary stripped and got into the tub with him to calm him down. I think today we'll let him play in the tub without water for a while before we take his clothes off. She agrees that it's time for this. He is doing much better at night.

When she goes to pick up Tushar tomorrow night we're going to keep Anthony and then they are going out before coming home. At least I know that I can give him a cup of milk to drink if he cries too much.

Yesterday was Russ & Linda's wedding. The three kids were there, plus us...we were the witnesses, and Linda's sister showed up at the last minute to represent her family. Her mother did not come???? They've been at odds ever since the graduation incident last June where she said she felt we were trying to be the "grandparents"......crazy lady. I understand that for some reason (unknown to me) she did not attend Linda's first wedding either.

But it was a lovely ceremony as courthouses go...they use the very old courthouse for weddings which is nice. Jim's mother actually worked in this building in the 1950's when it was the main courthouse.

Afterwards we took them to lunch (not the sister) at The Summit House...an upscale restaurant in Fullerton. Lunch was about $250. for the seven of us....pretty cheap wedding! The kids were great and are very happy about the wedding.

Mary and her siblings were a bit put out by not being able to attend but that was Russ & Linda's decision to keep it small and simple. Mary put together a basket of champagne, cheese, cake etc that we delivered to them. Honeymoon in a basket she called it.

Decorating is coming along...slowly....I did move all the boxes out of the den when we returned from Big Bear and that is Anthony's playroom. Works well but he does like for someone to be in the room with him.

Barbara had a pill and then drank margarita's at the lunch after the baptism last Sunday afternoon. Kevin & Laura (their middle child) had never had their two kids baptized. They are both in Catholic School now (at John's expense and using his church envelopes...he donates a lot to that church)...and the school finally found out as the boy is now ready for first communion. Jenn & Kelly were asked to be godparents. Dennis (the youngest son) was invited because 1) he goes to church 2) they were having the lunch after at his restaurant ...he is the attorney and the restaurant is an investment.

The oldest son, Brian, was not invited 1) he says he is an agnostic 2) they didn't want any more people to know than necessary 3) no one else was invited. Barbara and John were unaware that no one had been invited.....everyone very upset. Now Brian says that he is not coming to their Christmas . Barbara was very upset about everything and when she had the drink plus the drugs she started on berating the family. She is very embarrassed about the whole thing now and feels she needs to apologize to Jenn for what she said about Jim to everyone. She won't tell me what she said and Jenn won't say either. Jim is very mad about the whole thing so I'm keeping him away from Barbara right now. Interesting family I married into. This is all Q.T. so don't tell Phil.

Well...enough for now...will try to post daily. Hugs
