Weight this morning 129 lbs...same as yesterday. We did finish the turkey last night but then I had a nut mix of pecans, almonds, raisins and choc chips!
Yesterday morning I went to the post office to mail all of the Christmas cards and my property tax payments.....then I took Matt to see his attorney in Newport Beach...read my book for an hour while I waited in the car. When we arrived home, Jim, Mary & I with Anthony headed for Walmart for some shopping. Jim is looking for 3 strands of ice-cycles to replace some of the broken ones in the front of the house...no luck....will look some more today. Went to Lowes and Home Depot and they were also out of them.
Then home for Mary to shower and get ready to pick up Tushar at LAX. While she was getting ready we took Anthony for a 2 mile walk around the lake. Mary was gone by the time we arrived home. I turned on the cartoons on the TV in his playroom (Mary doesn't like that) and he enjoyed himself for an hour of quiet playtime. Then we fed him dinner. I got him a sippy cup with a straw and he did much better with drinking his milk. He was also snacking on Cherrrios during his playtime. Then I feed him applesause.....oops....another no no I heard later...per Dr. Oz. But he enjoyed it. Played until 6:30 pm and then put him into the tub.
I put on shorts and stood with him ... with his clothes on in the tub with some of his favorite toys. Jim was there with me and we played with him and then finally took his clothes off slowly. Finally added water. He was very nervous but never cried. Finally got him to sit down in the water. Didn't do the soap but he never cried. At 7:15 pm we tucked him into bed and never a peep was heard after the first minute when I turned out the light and shut the door.
Mary & Tushar arrived home about 10 pm.....they did a mini date night in LA before coming home. And so ended another nice day in paradise.
