But this morning I was up a pound at 137 lbs. And, we even walked about 8 pm for our 2 miles around the lake last night. It was 100 degree weather so we waited until it was almost dark.
Our water was off all day...so I didn't drink as much....but they put a shut off valve in to the sprinklers and by 7 pm we had water back on inside of the house.
Friday, August 28th....woke about 6:30 am...we walked at 7 am for 2 miles around the lake...Jim is so much faster now...met Shari & Dave on Via Apolina and they walked with us for the balance of the trip.
breakfast at 8:30... egg & cheese, coffee
lunch at 12:30...sauage, cheese, water
snack at 3:30....cheese
We went shopping, new tops for me, shirt & levi's for Jim...all on sale at Kohls...then to Bed/Bath for dice games, cheese slicer and steak knives. Then to the post office to mail the page for Libby & Bob anniversary memory book before going to the library. Jim needed some books to research Plen Air Art for Bowers and I got some magazines. I'd picked up 3 books on Wed.
Now home...got an estimate on the repairs for the sprinkler system...probably a couple hundred.
I posted my first Greece blog today on our 2007 trip. Going to do it every day and only post a day at a time. Should take about 6 weeks.
