staying on all low carbs....cheese (very little) bacon, hamburger, chicken worked.
weighed in a 136 lbs this morning on both scales! We also walked 2 miles last night after dark...it was still very warm but since I'd just washed my hair it kept me cooler....
Have a cup of coffee and now must get ready for church.
Jenn/Kelly/Russ/Ben/Katie joined us for Mass. Came home, changed and then made myself a 3 egg omelet with 2 T of flaxseed fried in margerine plus another cup of coffee at 10 am
About 11 am I had a handful of nuts...almonds and walnuts...also took some photos....I'll post one.
I worked on my Greece photos...reviewing the "whole lot" and added some of them to the ones that I'd originally selected as the best of the trip.
At 1 pm I changed clothes and headed to Fullerton to visit the Youth Hostel Open House that I'd read about in the Hosteling International Newsletter. It's a 2 story home built in the 1930's near the park on Harbor Blvd. in Fullerton. They had about twenty people visiting while I was there and the Mayor & council members arrived while I was there to make a presentation. It is small but has 3 rooms (all were air conditioned...sleeping rooms only)....a boys dorm (3 bunks) and a bathroom downstairs, a girls dorm (3 beds), a coed dorm with 8 beds and 1 bathroom upstairs. Very clean....there was a nice common room, screened porch and a well equiped kitchen for making your own meals. $22/bed....must be able to prove that you don't live in L.A. or Orange County...to keep the homeless out. She said most are there to visitDisneyland. I was impressed.
Then I went to Wal-Mart for some things, to Von's and then home. It's 100 degrees this afternoon...
2:30....ate some cold chicken and cheese for lunch....water....jello.
6:00 dinner was chicken & cheese again. I purchased 3 paks of the Adkins drinks to try while I was at Wal-Mart. Maybe I'll have one of those over chipped ice for dessert.
