Today I'm working with a carb cycling turbo diet plan that I found in a magazine.
I had half of a cantaloupe and 3 egg whiles for breakfast. Now I'm eating a Luna bar for snack. Lunch will be chicken, lettuce and green peppers.
To me it seems to be high on carbs but we'll see if the combination of food helps.
I had an artichoke quiche for dinner but only had a glass of water at Jenn's party.
Felt if I didn't start to eat all the goodies I would be better off.
So glad that I stuck to my plan.

Busy day with Mary and family here. Now they've decided (actually I think is was mostly Tushar) that since Mary and Anthony both seemed very happy....they will be staying until Easter. I said fine...except....since Anthony is sleeping most of the time in bed with them that we'd move them to the guest room. And...since I've already promised the beds to Jay and Holly over the Easter Weekend...that they would be sleeping at Jenn & Kellys....they said okay.
So...we've got company for the month. Tushar will be flying in and out every weekend. Then on the Tuesday after Easter...Mary and Holly can make the drive home today...with two cars. Jay and Holly are driving down on Good Friday...Jay flies home on Sunday and Holly will drive back with the kids on Tuesday.
Jenn's party was a great success! She must have had at least fifty people...there were board games set out and yes...people played them all evening, music was going and lots of dancing. Russ was in bed with flu that he picked up during the week at the doctor's office. But Laura & Joe, Wendy & Keith, Laura Curran (we consider her family), Mary, Tushar & Anthony plus Jim and I were there. She must have had a least 100 candles lite on the hill, patio area, front yard and in the house. Really beautiful. She was barefoot with her long dress on that she wore when they renewed their wedding vows ten years ago. It was a fun evening...most of the family scooted out before 9 pm (it started at 6 pm) and the last left about midnight she said. Instead of gifts she asked for donations to her Breast Cancer run and she collected about $1,000 she said. Another $1300. to raise....
The weather was really hot ... in the 80's ... early in the week...yesterday was cool and last night it was definitely jacket weather. Today it's overcast and they said light rain? We take Tushar to LAX about 4:30 this afternoon for his flight to Texas.
