Another day...slept in until 6 am this morning. Betty sounded up and happy this morning when I called her. Actually "bubbly"...good to hear her this way from the moment she picked up the telephone.
Scales were at 127 lbs. this morning...yeah! Worked hard at being good yesterday and also did 3 miles...paid off as I broke that barrier of 128 that has been there for the past four days.
I think we're going to see the movie: Great Gatsby today.
Yesterday afternoon I worked on Quicken and also the sheets for keeping track of Quicken expenses for the time during our trip this fall. I will pre-post everything that is fixed and do estimates on all of the other bills before I leave to make sure I have enough cash transferred in to the accounts that pay the bills while I'm gone. Then it's a matter of verifying a couple of times a month that I'm not too far off. When I get home I go in and finalize all the estimated amounts and the additional information.
Lots of work but pays off at the end of the year ... but who really cares other than me!
I've been reading the book "Proof of Heaven" by Eben Alexander, M.D. He is a neurosurgeon who was in a coma for nine days....really good. I got it from the library...hard copy only...and had to wait for a month to get it.
