Mary...did you post that comment on my travel blog? Glad that you are enjoying the photos. Yes..I seem to get a boost on numbers every weekend...must be from the promo in the newspaper.
Girls night out went well last night. There were eleven of us so the living room was full! I don't think about how small the room is until we have a party. For food I put out cheeses, vegtables, chips, 3 dips, candy, an apricot & almond tart, nuts, strawberries with powder sugar dip and a few more things. I had opened two bottles of red wine to breath and no one drank any so we've got some wine to drink soon. Everyone had either water or chardonnay to drink. The girls all arrived at 7 and left at 9 pm. Jim came down and helped me clean up.
Weather is good...every morning it's cloudy until about 10 or 11 am. So far not too hot..mostly in the high 70's but I hear we have some hotter weather coming soon.
I've started working on my photo album on the internet....doing a book like I did for England except mostly photos and not much writing.
Today we have lunch at the Westmorelands with another couple who used to live on the lake. I'm taking the salad. Should be fun. Need to walk as soon as Jim gets up...did not walk yesterday but did get the downstairs windows washed...we worked together...and vacuumed so that was my exercise for the day.
My wrist has been giving me problems so I purchased a support for the right hand...really helped yesterday. Also, staying off of the computer seems to help. It's using the mouse that seems to affect it most.
Tomorrow Jenn and I are going to Big Bear at 7 am and plan to come home tomorrow evening. A full day....a real estate agent is coming at 3 pm to see the house. Will cut the grass....hopefully it will need cutting with all of our watering last week.
