Busy, busy, busy....we had a wonderful dinner with Tom and Christine Hilger. And, they are planning to come out for the boat parade party on Dec. 10th.
John Gaughan fell on Tuesday night and had hip surgery yesterday afternoon. He'll probably be in the hospital for 3 days and then in a rehabilitation hospital for 6 weeks. He broke the ball part of the hip...not the cup...so it's not a full hip replacement. I saw him today and he was in a lot of pain. Barbara has been living at the hospital with him...she really looked tired.
Weight....Wed. morning it was 127 lbs..nice to see...but after our dinner in Beverly Hills on Wed. night it was 128 lbs this morning.
I put the Christmas tree together today...took me about five hours. But right now all the lights work. Mary & Anthony are going to stay with us from Nov. 21st through Christmas and Tushar will continue to fly back and forth from Michigan each weekend. They are flying down so it will be a car issue. Jay & Holly are coming for the boat parade so I'm arranging for Mary & Tushar to spend a couple of nights at Barbara's for that weekend. Trying to keep everyone happy.
Jim is at a play with Jennifer tonight at the University. She has to attend several for her class that she is taking and he agreed to go with her. He was very tired as he worked on Christmas lights most of the day today. He didn't even go to the hospital with me to see John. We'll both go on Sunday. The boys are coming Saturday to help with the lights. Hopefully will have most of the outside done by Saturday night.
Did I tell you I found my rocks that I thought the inspector's took from my suitcase? Yep...I'd tucked them into a bag of medicine.
