Still calling in for Jury Duty....I have to call at noon today...only two more days. Received a call last night from Faye Hedrick....we worked together in real estate....we were partners early on and then she came with us to our new company....anyway....a 60 year old realtor died quite suddenly yesterday....must have been a heart attack. I missed going to the Realtor's Christmas Breakfast on Tuesday...because of jury duty I decided not to go. Guess it's important to go so that I can keep in touch with people from my past. She was divorced and lived alone.....they found her when she didn't show up at the office and they went to check on her when she didn't answer her telephone.
Carolyn's mother is dying....probably before Christmas; Westmoreland's daughter's mother-in-law is on life support....too much death all around us.
Russ is buying shingles for his roof this week....will be nice when that is finished....he got the tar paper on before the heavy rain over the weekend.
Jim got a decoration for the boat....will try to remember to take a photo when he gets it up....not very big but it's something and not a blowup...
