Yesterdaywe thought we were going to lunch with friends in Long Beach....wrong date...so we went to the Bowers and Jim showed me their two new exhibits...one was spectacular...objects carved out of gemstones.
Then we went to the movie to see "The Kids are Alright".....excellent but rather racey...lots of sex and nudity and women kissing...Phil would definately not like it. But we think it will probably get some nominations at the Academy Awards next spring.
Today I've been making movies of Jim's film and downsized the photo albums so that we can show them to Westmorelands tonight....they've invited us to dinner with the instructions to bring photos. I've not printed any so will take the big laptop and hopefully we'll be able to show the video on their television using flip camera....we'll download the movies back to the camera....will be interesting if it works.
