Up about 6 am…took some Motrin in the middle of the night but otherwise slept through from 9  pm to 6 am.  I ache all over.

Weight at 135 lbs…must have been the strawberries and honey….

Talked to Betty and Shirley this morning.  Betty having severe storms and Shirley excited about finding cheap gas….they are busy filling all three vehicles this morning so we didn’t talk very long.  

Woke to my phone being DEAD…first time that has happened.  I never turn it off at night so I guess something was running and depleted the battery.  But once I got it started and put it into power saving mode it started to charge so I was able to make my calls.

Jim was ordering a book on Eastern Europe….so I had him also order these books for us:

Rick Steves:   Paris 2013, Florence & Tuscany 2013, Rome 2013

I hate to carry them but I know I will be sorry if I don’t have them when we’re there. 

We got a really good price plus free shipping. 

8:00 am…breakfast oatmeal & applesauce plus coffee.

Jim left for a special lunch at Bowers and then went to Miss Barbara's and hung her painting that we'd had framed for her.

I spent the day catching up on Quicken and other bookkeeping chores.  

Never walked today....dinner was ham sandwich and a tomato with wine.  

at 6 pm I drove items over to Jenn to take to Big Bear this weekend.  Hope they get everything done that I've put on the list...but not holding my breath.  We may need to go up again next week if they don't get the sprinkler repaired.

Talked to Betty about 6:30 pm....she was headed for bed she said.

About 7 pm we drove over to a neighbors across the lake for a classical music performance on the piano by a student from the University in Long Beach.  It was excellent...but I had a glass of wine and a slice of banana nut bread.

Home and to bed by 10:30 pm.
