Well I'm stuck at 130 lbs...gotta get rid of those girl scout cookies! Have been walking every day at least 2 miles...one day 3...but going clothes shopping yesterday helped. Maybe I should shop every day! But, I did find my "little black dress" for the trip for $25. and two pair of nicer black pants that were only about $10 a piece. Shopped at Ross's which always has bargains.
Went to Wal-Mart and found v neck sweaters for $7...got a black and a white one. I'll take the black one with me and will be good to layer with on a cold day if we have them in April. I also saw a small roll of duct tape by the luggage rack and remembered that Rick Steves says that it's good to have a small roll of duct tape when you travel as it can be used for so many things. Did you pack one, Mary? Also...used my gift card from you at Wal-Mart...thanks again....and then Jim and I went to Kohls and used another gift card from Christmas and each got a new shirt.
Weather has been fantastic since Monday and we've got another winner today. It was 80 degrees yesterday and today is predicted to be in the 70's. Enjoyed the rather sad but well made movie about 9/11 and then today we're going to go see Marilyn.
