Up about 7:30 am...weight same at 134 lbs...went to the lab and got blood test for thyroid....was supposed to have done it last month but was in San Frncisco. Weather here is very warm...in the 90's yesterday. We were at an outside event until 8:30 last night with no jackets.

Yesterday I went to the gym...nearly killed me but I did a half an hour on the elliptical machine.

Helped Jim pull out the old microwave and oven....yes....we finally purchased a new one at Home Depot...it arrives on Friday....nothing fancy....a G.E....but will have auto clean cycle and microwave has the revolving dish and special settings.

Last night we went to the band review for Katie & Ben....all of the Junior High's (5 of them) and high schools (4 of them) performed. The Junior High's marched around the track...Katie is captain of her drill team. The High Schools marched and then performed their half time shows. Ben had to march even though he can't play his instrument because of the broken arm. He was so cute as he used his left arm to hold his right arm up when marching as though he was playing his instrument. They did move him to the inside so that he wasn't too obvious for the crowds. Because of the intricate patterns that they do during their halftime routines it was very important for him to be there for the other kids to keep their patterns.

Minutes before the start of the program...Katie was drinking a soda and she swallowed the pull tab that she'd put inside the drink when she opened it....yes...bad ideal but the kids do it instead of dropping it on the ground. Doctor said to give it a week to pass....if not they will do xray to see where it is at....as long as she doesn't have cramping and/or blood in her stool....they've purchased her a box of rubber gloves and she has to check each stool....don't think that she will do this again!!!

Today Carolyn and I are off to find more of the Christmas Mailboxes....we've gone to three Home Depots already and they are all out...going to Corona today...will call first....and then I'm taking her out to lunch in Orange for checking our house regularly while we were gone this summer.

Glad the election is over....Meg & Firona both won in Orange County but lost statewide. I am glad that Gavin Newson (currently San Francisco mayor) won for Lieuenant governor...I voted for him even though he is a Democrat.
