Off to the gym and then at 11 am we leave to meet Warren.
Arrived at noon at Camp Pendleton...accident on the 55 freeway at the 5 freeway...traffic at a stop so we took the next off ramp and went to the 5 by side streets. I'd made us peanut butter sandwiches, applesauce and cheese so we enjoyed our lunch in the car as we waited for time to walk to the area where the buses were scheduled to arrive. At 12:30 we headed out and by the time we arrived Joe, Laura, a friend of Warren, Laura's brother from San Diego, her sister Kay (with husband and 2 grandchildren) and her mother Barbara Snow. So we had a large group to welcome the warrior home. Check out facebook for so photos.
Headed home about 1:30 pm...stopped for gas on Jamboree (where we got gas after going to Barbara's house) and then took the back roads....Jamboree...past the cemetery....home...freeways are all jammed up. A gasoline tanker went over and exploded on the east bound 91 freeway near Corona....all lane are blocked...with Memorial Day traffic it is a real zoo on the road.
I went to the Library and post office after we got home...traffic is so bad on Imperial that Yorba Linda Blvd. is block half way to our house. I was glad when I finally got home.
